Joint Pain
We take it for granted that our joints will cope with the pressures of everyday life, until they start to hurt or stiffen up. Many joint problems are very easily managed, others are more serious. The amount of pain and stiffness does not always indicate the severity of the problem.
It is therefore essential that in all cases a very thorough medical history, physically examination, spinal examination, neurological examination and possibly and x-ray is always undertaken. If your condition is able to be helped by us, we will explain your diagnosis and details fully. If we can't help, we will always refer you to someone who can. Sometimes the problem is simple, other times the onset of pain is more serious and shows that your body is wearing out and may need a program of care to help it cope. Always have your joint pain properly examined and diagnosed. It's always easier to help sooner rather than later. Joint pain is not normal in a healthy person. |
