You can have a numb foot or hand without a great deal of back pain, but the problem may well be completely spinal. It is therefore essential that in all cases a very thorough medical history, physical examination, spinal examination, neurological examination and possibly an x-ray is always undertaken. If your condition is able to be helped by us, we will explain your diagnosis and details fully. If we can't help, we will always refer you to someone who can.
