Headaches
We often hear people say "I suffer normal headaches". There is no such thing as a normal or usual headache in a healthy person.
There are many causes of headache, some are difficult to manage and serious, and others not. The first thing to do is find the cause. You can't receive treatment if you don't know what's wrong. Most headaches are either tension or migraine type in nature. Many headaches are a result of tension in the muscles in the back of the neck around the base of your head. This can be due to many causes which must be determined and then treated accordingly. Temporary muscle relaxations therapy or analgesics may be just that, very temporary. Therefore see a chiropractor to determine the cause of your headaches and determine how to get your neck joints and muscles functioning as well as they can for a longer term solution. We will always refer you on if we can't help. |
